What is Behavior Rewired?

Together, we’ll explore how the B.R.A.V.E. Framework makes complex brain science easier to use with staff. This shared language helps teams respond with more steadiness and care, so Tier 1 practices hold firm and more students get the support they need.

Behavior Rewired is designed for lasting impact, giving you the confidence and clarity to sustain real change in your school community.

I love love love ALL THE RESOURCES and ways to use the resources. It makes it so much more adjustable to so many different levels.

“You changed my life.”

That’s what one teacher said after learning just a fraction of what we cover in Behavior Rewired Level 1.

“I grew up in a family that didn’t talk about emotions. We hear all this stuff for our students, but I realize I need it too. The way you put the brain into animals…yeah. You changed my life.”

“I grew up in a family that didn’t talk about emotions. We hear all this stuff for our students, but I realize I need it too. The way you put the brain into animals…yeah. You changed my life.”

That’s what one teacher said after learning just a fraction of what we cover in Behavior Rewired Level 1.

School leadership goes far beyond teaching staff to manage student behaviors.

When educators truly understand the brain-behavior connection, they stop feeling like they’re constantly reacting. That teacher went back to her classroom with a new lens, not just for her students, but for herself and her colleagues too.

These small changes create ripple effects—through classrooms, schools, families, and even generational patterns.

This is the power of the B.R.A.V.E. framework.

This is the power of Behavior Rewired.

I had the pleasure of attending Behavior Rewired in Philadelphia, and I wanted to reach out personally to say how deeply your work resonated with me. The way you broke down what could have been very complicated neuroscience into actionable insights that are able to be understood by children and educators was amazing. I can't say enough about how excited I am to have this information!

What will I learn?

This two-day experience will help you shift from managing behavior to truly transforming it. • Create a plan to bring this work to life in your unique context

Whether you’re coaching individuals or leading change across a building or district, you’ll leave with fresh tools and strengths-based language to support your work.

What's the difference between Level 1 and staying for Level 2?

Level 1 equips you with the core knowledge and tools you need to use and teach the B.R.A.V.E. Framework with confidence. By the end of the two days, you will be able to:

  1. Explain the B.R.A.V.E. Framework and why behavior is a brain thing.
  2. Teach brain-based concepts to staff with confidence and clarity.
  3. Recognize common protective brain responses and guide staff in responding effectively.
  4. Use brain-based language to foster staff buy-in and reduce resistance.
  5. Apply practical tools from the Trainer Toolbox to real-world school scenarios.
  6. Create a realistic plan to sustain behavior change in your school or district.

Level 2 builds on this foundation with advanced practice, troubleshooting, and implementation support. Participants who stay will:

  1. Practice applying brain-based strategies in challenging staff and student scenarios.
  2. Explore tools for supporting staff who remain stuck in protection mode.
  3. Strengthen implementation with classroom-ready resources and planning labs.
  4. Build confidence leading this work across grade levels and school contexts.

What is the B.R.A.V.E.
Framework?

What is the B.R.A.V.E. Framework?

The B.R.A.V.E. Framework is a transformative approach designed to help educators understand and respond to student behavior through the lens of brain science. Developed by BraveBrains founder Jessica Sinarski, LPCMH, it integrates trauma-informed neuroscience with relatable language and powerful visuals.

The acronym B.R.A.V.E. stands for these 5 key principles:

  • B: Behavior is a brain thing.
  • R: Relationships build brains.
  • A: Ask: which team is running things?
  • V: Validate the brain's protectors.
  • E: Elevate: keep climbing upstairs.

This framework gives teams a shared language to reduce confusion, strengthen connection, and create real change in how schools respond to behavior.

Is it evidence based?

Behavior Rewired™ is grounded in the latest neuroscience and child development research. It’s a scientifically-backed approach that bridges theory and practice. Educators and schools using the framework report improvements in staff morale, student behavior, and schoolwide consistency.

Not at this time. Behavior Rewired™ Train-the-Trainer is designed as a hands-on, immersive experience that works best in person. Before You Arrive

What happens after I register?

For individual tickets: you'll receive a confirmation email with important info.

Closer to the event, our Circle learning space will open. This is where you'll find the pre-work, connect with fellow participants, and access resources that will help you get the most out of your in-person experience. Each registered attendee will receive an email invitation to join the Circle community when it opens.

For group tickets: the person placing the order or submitting the PO will receive an email requesting the contact information for each person registering. Each person will receive a confirmation email with important info.

Is there any pre-work required?

Yes. To set you up for success, all participants complete two thoughtfully designed learning modules before arriving. Expect to spend about 4 hours total.

While we hope attendees will have read Light Up the Learning Brain in full, all participants are required to read (or re-read) the first few chapters before we meet. These four chapters (pages 9-80) are chock full of foundational insights and visuals designed to help the learning stick!

After registration, you’ll also receive an invitation to join our Circle learning space. This is where you’ll find the pre-work, connect with fellow participants, and access resources that will help you get the most out of your in-person experience.

What should I bring to the event?

Please bring:

We’ll take care of the rest!

  • Your copy of Light Up the Learning Brain
  • A laptop or tablet (needed for some group work and to access the Trainer Toolkit)
  • Your preferred way to take notes
  • And—most importantly—a sense of curiosity and openness to learning something new

What is the dress code?

Whatever helps you learn best! We recommend dressing in layers—we’ll have limited control over the room temperature. Jeans and tennis shoes? Great. Prefer to dress up? Go for it.

Resources & Support

Will session materials be available after the training?

Yes! You’ll get access to everything we cover (and more) so you can revisit the content and confidently lead sessions in your own setting.

Can I use the materials to train others after the event?
